Grandad’s WWII Diary – Photos of Bethlehem, Palestine 1942
In my Grandfather’s War Diary entry from Friday August 21 1942, he visits Jerusalem & Bethlehem. He said ” Left camp on trip at 8AM. Arriving at Jerusalem at 11AM. Straight onto Bethlehem – reaching Church of Nativity – star(?) & manger then to British War Cemetery.”
He most likely took (or purchased) these photos on this visit that day.
The comments under the photos are his own words from the backs of the photos.

He did a lot of touring your Grandad.
keeping in mind these photos from the last few entries were all likely from the same day 🙂
