Mum and I recently returned from a cruise onboard Sea Princess from Fremantle to Indonesia. One of the highlights was each evening in the buffet with these gorgeous, colourful desserts and cakes.
There was something for everyone and very few repeats on our 15 night cruise – chocolate, coffee, almond, fruit tarts, pavlova, multiple flavours of cream layer cakes.
There was also a hot dessert every lunch and dinner. This was often a fruit crumble or cobbler but sometimes a hot sponge dessert, bread pudding, banana pudding and in one case a chocolate brownie.
Oh and for those who like their desserts sugar free, they had those daily also.
