Kowloon Park was just a short walk from our hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. The park itself is large and made up of a number of distinct areas you can explore. From the sculpture park where we sat and watched people doing tai chi to a public swimming pool, children’s playground and even a free museum.
We actually spent a good few hours at the park and also returned a couple of times to just sit, watch the people go by and use the free wifi in the park.
There is also a small, free museum in the park. The Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. This is well worth a visit if you have a spare hour or so for a small taste of the history of Hong Kong. I did a short blog post on their Ming Dynasty room and its link to Disney.
