India is a country of colour and contrast (and amazing food). One of the cool sites we visted in Delhi was Jantar Mantar which was built in 1724 as an observatory used to predict time and the movement of the sun, moon and planets.
While this is all very interesting, it also struck me as architecturally interesting, almost like a sculptural park.
It costs 100 rupees for foreigners to enter which is about $NZ2 (~$US1.70).

Yes neither had I, it wasn’t large and we just wandered around but the photos looked pretty 🙂
