The theme for my challenge is “Inheriting my Grandparent’s crap” 🙂

My Grandfather had a sister, her name was Mima.  She never married or had children.

When she passed away, her belongings appear to have gone to my Grandparents.   I don’t believe for a second because they were sentimental about Mima’s possessions, but more they had the need to keep everything, as they were hoarders.  So when they passed, I inherited the inheritance from Mima.

I don’t remember Mima, as I was 2 years old when she passed away.  What I can tell you about Mima was that she was a very much into her needlecraft.  I can tell you this because I ended up with a lot of it.  Primarily embroidery thread and macrame.

There was a huge amount of embroidery that we ended up with, thats long gone to charity or sold online, as we didn’t know which items were one’s Mima had created and which were likely picked up from charity shops by my Grandparents.

What I do know though, is that she created the Macramé wraps on these bottles.

The Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge rules require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph – it’s entirely up to you. Then each day, nominate another blogger to carry on this challenge.
