Thursday September 10

Day 523

Days becoming rather monotonous although quite enjoying the swimming.  Weather terribly warm.

Friday September 11

Day 524

Not so many in camp as when I arrived.  Becoming ??? & ??? ???.

Saturday September 12

Day 525

Received more mail from home also parcel.  Jerry bombed Haifa – could see his planes passing over at tremendous height.

Sunday September 13

Day 526

Church parade.  Down on beach during afternoon.  Moved into another hut as crowd in camp becoming smaller.

Monday September 14

Day 527

Treatment in morning.  Afternoon walked through orange groves – should be ready in another months time – grapes rather scarce.

Tuesday September 15

Day 528

Medical inspection – graded B1 – still receiving treatment & exercises.

Wednesday September 16

Day 529

Attending more parades now being B1.  Mostly P.T.

Thursday September 17

Day 530

Shifted to another hut & company – now in with W Newman(?) & B Fleming(?).  Lot of bed bugs in this hut am told.  Played cards in afternoon instead of swimming.
