At Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida, in the Africa section of the park, there is an underwater viewing area to watch the Hippopotamus underwater. While we were there, the Hippo was (or appeared to be) sleeping and occassionally taking a breath.
I plan to have a lot more about the Animal Kingdom theme park coming up soon so stay tuned 🙂

I have never been to Animal Kingdom – it wasn’t there when I visited over 20 years ago!
Its a great park, my favourite of all the Disney theme parks in the USA.
We enjoyed Animal Kingdom when we were there. So many wonderful animals to see!
Its a fantastic park to explore, I’m looking forward to seeing all the new additions coming in the next few years too.
