This week’s “My Disney Collection” item is a prize item within my collection.  Its original, one of a kind and more importantly made especially for me by a very talented friend many years ago.

She took an original 1980s Cabbage Patch Kid and recreated her into Minnie Mouse.

This involved removing the original yarn hair and creating a new hairstyle.  You can’t see in the photo but at the back of her hair, she has two curly buns.

She also has a custom made outfit including mouse ears, Minnie Mouse polka dot dress, black tights and little yellow booties.

I think you’ll agree this is a pretty cool and rather unique item in my Disney collection.  🙂
