The current afternoon parade at the Magic Kingdom called Festival of Fantasy debuted in 2014 and was linked to the opening of the New Fantasyland expansion.  The highlight for most Disney fans is the steampunk-esque Maleficient dragon float which breathes fire.

As with most parades, there are a selection of princesses plus of course Anna and Elsa from Frozen.  Having Rapunzel from Tangled armed with a frying pan was a very nice addition.  Mickey, Minnie and Co also make an appearance towards the end.

Anyway, check out the video, we had a great viewing spot right near the train station, a good location in the shade on a hot, Florida afternoon.  I wouldn’t recommend getting a Fastpass for this parade, as those who had taken that option were in the blazing sun!
