… sermon which caused the Jews to threaten to throw him over the cliffs of Mt Tabor sometimes known as the Mt of Precipitation.  In afternoon looked through French Convent which since the war has been changed to a Polish Children’s Refugee School.  Its Church representing youth, one of the most beautiful I have seen.  Then turned home arriving shortly before six o’clock.

Day 680

Church parade.  Wrote of trip to Nazareth for rest of day.  Pictures at night.  “That Night in Rio”.  Alice Faye & Don Ameche.

Rained most of morning so had P.T training in vacant hut.  Continued writing during afternoon.  At night Naafi Concert Party held a performance – very good with several clever artists.

Paraded before Col. Stout(?) for Medical Board.  Do not know result.  Pictures at night “Red Barry”.

Usual morning at P.T. New assault course tried out but excused going over it.  Afternoon watched football match between Railway Construction & Con. Depot.
