Once again continuing our stroll around the World Showcase at Epcot, we stop briefly at the Italy Pavilion. I say briefly as similarly with the Germany pavilion previously there is little of interest here (at least to me). No ride, no movie. There are a couple of shops – Italian masks and assorted souvenirs such as t-shirts, bags, scarves and snack items.
The rest of the pavilion seems to be made up of dining locations which I understand are quite good for the most part.
- Tutto Italia (full sit down service)
- Tutto Gusto (Wine Cellar)
- Via Napoli Pizzeria e Ristorante – a pizzeria – which charges around $US35 for a pizza…
Many years ago there was a really good show here with some women performers, I understand they are not longer performing here but I’m not sure what the entertainment is like here currently.
To me it just seems like a lot of open space with not a lot happening. They could have done a lot more with the space. A gelatto counter service with samples of different flavours perhaps?
