Disney Cruise Line – Sweet Temptations Desserts

A few years ago Disney Cruise line introduced the Sweet Temptations dessert option on their menu. Every night on the menu, the desserts are different.  This options depend on the evening’s dining theme and can also change depending on your itinerary.

Often I can’t choose a single dessert, they all sound good, so the sweet temptations option on th menu is a small portion of 3 of the dessert items. Typically just a few bites of each.  I love this, as they are small portions and it often gets me to try something I wouldn’t normally order.

If you really like one of them, you could always order a full size dessert too.  Your wait staff would only be too happy to get something extra for you.

As an example, the following list was taken from a recent Disney Cruise Line menu on the Dream to give you an idea of what you might get as a Sweet Temptation –

  • A trio of Peanut Butter Mousse, Mango Cheesecake, and Tahitian Vanilla Crème Brûlée
  • A trio of Esterhazy Cake (Almond Meringue) Strawberry Cheesecake, and Chocolate Silk Mousse
  • A Trio of Strawberry Sable, Cranberry and Orange Cheesecake, and Double-Fudge Chocolate Cake

Below a selection of photos from some of our cruises. I have no idea what they were at this stage, but don’t they look yummy?  It challenging to actually take the photo before digging into them 😉

      • Reading your post gave me some inspiration, hunger and a reflection of what we as a company do so well. I love hearing great feedback even though it is obvious our desserts always taste too good! Duh! Haha no it is something we strive for, to ensure our guests have the most magical experience. As a company, our supervisors and managers listen to the crew, they take our point of view into consideration, even if a bartender got inspired by your post! So thank you! 🙂 jerry
