Day 603

Filled in morning reading.  Wrote during afternoon.  Pictures at night “Another Thin Man” – film terribly out in places.

Monday November 30

Day 604

Another M.O paraded.  Finished with crutches – now using stick.  Wrote during afternoon then pictures “Arizona”.  Received more mail.

Tuesday December 1

Day 605

Weather rather cool.  Wrote & read.  Boys returned with more oranges.  Played housie instead of going to pictures.

Wednesday December 2

Day 606

Finished writing mail.  Spent afternoon down on beach.  Days becoming rather monotonous & boring.  Received news of us receiving another shilling a day extra pay.  Pictures again at night “Intermezzo”.

Thursday December 3

Day 607

Bus trip in afternoon to Ramle(?) – visited ??? ??? residence.  Passed through Lydda where St George of England was killed through to Ramle(?).  Spent quite an enjoyable afternoon.  Two ladies there just returned from Malta – told some exciting experiences.  Had afternoon there – played some game then left at 6PM arriving back at camp at 8.30PM

Friday December 4

Day 608

Another medical inspection – returning to Hosp. for x-ray.  Pictures at night “Blood & Sand”.

Saturday December 5

Day 609

Rained most of day.  Between showers in afternoon watched football match Palestine Police v.  Con Depot.  Spending evening at pictures as usual.

Day 610

Transferring to hospital tonight.  Day ??? in getting gear ready.  Pictures at night.  “History is Made at Night”.
