Hong Kong Disneyland Merchandise

Hong Kong Disneyland merchandise offerings are very different to those found at Tokyo Disneyland (read this post for more information of shopping at Tokyo Disneyland), in that its a lot more similar to the offerings found in the US Disney theme parks.

A lot of the merchandise appears to be identical to the USA parks but there is also a lot of unique Hong Kong Disneyland items also.

Duffy the Bear items are available but not in the same quantity as in the Tokyo parks, I’m not sure if this was mainly catering the Japanese visitors?

And unlike Tokyo, there were loads of t-shirts available. However perhaps not surprisingly, the sizes are on the smaller side.  In the US theme parks, I usually pick a “S” size, at Hong Kong, I got an “XL” (though L would have probably been ok).

There were lots of tins with snacks, biscuits, cookies and the like.  I’m not sure again if these were catering for the Japanese visitors also?

There was the usual array of plush, baby and children’s clothing, costume jewelry, some trading pins, kitchen utensils, mugs etc

Mystic Manor and Grizzly Gulch also had a small number of specialty items also – both of these attractions being unique to Hong Kong.

Umbrellas carts outside and stands in shops seemed to be everywhere.  These are used in HK for both rain and sun protection.

Prices to me seemed much the same as what you’d expect to pay in the US Disney parks.

  2. Did you happen to notice if they had any christmas ornaments or magnets?? 🙂

    • I definitely didn’t see any Christmas stuff but I would think they might have later in the year as Easter was being celebrated while we were in Hong Kong (though not noticeable at Disneyland).

      I don’t recall seeing magnets either – lots of key chains, phone dangles, dangles for bags etc but that’s not to say they didn’t have magnets perhaps somewhere like the stationary area where I didn’t really take much notice.

  5. They put out their Christmas ornaments right after Halloween. They do have a good assortment of magnets. You have to look around the pins and various end caps throughout the stores.
